  • Spring programme between University of Dortmund Germany and Ardhi university under DAAD support on Joint MSc programme on Urban and Regional Planning (every year)
  • Research/student/staff exchange and joint Training in MSc and PhD programme at the University of Hasselt Belgium and Ardhi University (every Year)
  • In-Regional PhD and MSc scholarships under DAAD (Every Year)
  • PhD and MSc scholarships funded by Sida between Ardhi University (Tanzania) and University of Lund, KTH and University Agricultural Science (SLU) Sweden 2015-2022)
  • PhD, MSc and staff exchange under Inter Africa Academic Mobility Scheme with 4 African universities and 1 technical university in UK funded by the European Commission University involved, University of Johannesburg (local coordinator),  Ardhi University,  Covenant University Nigeria, Malawi Polytechnic University Malawi and Leeds Buckett University UK   technical partner  (2021-2024)
  • PhD and MSC scholarships under Flemish interuniversity Council (VLIR)  with four Universities in Belgium, (University of Hasselt, Gent University, KLuven  and Artesis Plantijn Hogeschool Antwerpen (AP)  2022 -2027

Partner universities

For the past five years ARU has endorsed and signed more than 40 Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) with different partners. Of the signed MoUs, more than 85% are active and the implementation of the planned activities is generally satisfactory.
