The department of Urban and Regional Planning became a School of Urban and Regional Planning following the establishment of Ardhi University (ARU) in March 2007. The School offers three undergraduate programmes in Urban and Regional Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Planning and Regional Development Planning. The School also runs postgraduate programmes namely; Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Management (PGD-UPM), Masters Degree in Urban Planning and Management (MSc-UPM) and Urban and Regional Development Planning and Management (MSc-URPM). The later is a joint Masters Degree programme jointly run between the School Urban and Regional Planning at ARU and Dortmund University. The School runs advanced degree programmes leading the Doctor of Philosophy Degree by Research.
